It’s kind of awkward getting under the saw and phothgrapoing it. I just went with what was there already: several 3/4″ x 1-1/2″ battens screwed to the underside. I located the opening between battens and had enough room the screw on a couple of more support battens to both the underside and the adjacent existing batten. it’s been plenty sturdy enough.
